Controlled It was blinding, everything was white after such an extensive time of darkness. The curled lights themselves seared pain through my eyes and onto the inside of my skull. I groaned and turned away trying to hide my face in the starched bedding around me. With my eyes pinched shut I tried to remember where I was, my feeble attempt failed. I couldn't remember anything. It all came back to that blinding white, before that it was just darkness. There was a pinch in my arm and I jerked away, only to have my arm caught in a hardened grip.
